Job Summary:

 An Associate Digital Strategist is responsible for supporting the development of digital communications strategy for GMMB clients. An Associate Digital Strategist understands channel-specific content strategy, how brands are experienced through social, mobile and web communications, and how digital interactions fit into broader customer experiences. An Associate Digital Strategist help assists in all facets of digital discovery: social media audits, including analyzing website traffic,  user testing, content audits, and stakeholder and audience interviews as needed. A true collaborator at heart, this role partners with the senior digital strategists and digital specialists in SEO, UX, technology, paid media, and creative, along with account managers, to support digital content strategies for clients. This candidate must be prepared for a fast-paced environment and be comfortable working with interdisciplinary teams.




  • Performs social media landscape analyses and digital platform audits – social channels, websites, and email marketing.
  • Develops digital strategy tools and content, including editorial calendars, blog posts, Facebook posts, Tweets, etc.
  • Writes and produces client-facing proposals and memoranda, presentations, strategic plans, and other materials, both independently and in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Conducts and reports on stakeholder interviews, audience interviews, content audits, Google Analytics analysis, social media scans, and other digital discovery work.
  • Monitors, evaluates and presents campaign results by leveraging online tools for social media listening and website analytics.
  • Provides campaign performance reporting and analysis internally and to clients.
  • Conducts QA during launches for website and digital campaign.



  • 1-2 years of full-time experience in digital marketing or advertising (digital experience required)
  • Superior communication skills, both internal and client-facing
  • Strong relationship management, organizational and project management skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of internal teams and business groups, including Account, Creative, Media and Technical delivery specialists
  • Strong interest in technology or digital marketing
  • Experience with social media listening tools such as Digimind or Meltwater is a plus
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
