As a Senior Vice President at GMMB, you will lead business development, develop innovative strategies to meet our clients’ objectives and manage and cultivate team members to think creatively, collaborate effectively and deliver results for our clients.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions:

  • Leads business building efforts by cultivating new relationships at the client level and proactively delivers ideas and strategies that address client challenges and helps them meet their objectives
  • Develops and manages the implementation of client work
  • Demonstrates knowledge across the agency’s areas of expertise (e.g. integrated communications, media relations, advertising, production, design, digital and media buying).
  • Organizes and manages financial aspects of accounts including budget development and management
  • Plays an active role as part of the senior leadership team that contributes to the agency’s overall growth, financial success and management
  • Manages, mentors, develops, motivates and leads staff

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university
  • 15+ years of experience in communications, advertising, public relations, public policy or related field
  • Knowledge of industry/issues, client business and financial aspects of business and account management
  • Experience managing, building and mentoring teams
  • Expertise in communications—including asset-based messaging—focused on policies that advance equitable outcomes for all communities
  • Combined with knowledge in health and public health, education and/or environmental policy areas is a plus
